We prefer using latex-based paints because they contain fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They give off fewer fumes, meaning less disruption for your workspace. Latex-based paints are also more moisture-resistant, which helps prevent mold and mildew.
Can You Paint Latex Over a Surface That Was Previously Painted with Oil?
With the proper preparation, yes. Our contractors will sand and clean the walls before painting to make sure it adheres. When painting latex over a surface previously painted with oil, primer is a must.
